On this page you will learn about Meditation, Development Circles and our Children's Meditation Group.

Meditation & Development Circle
Meditation is a wonderful way to clear the mind, relax the body, and restore balance to your energy. Regular meditation can help reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and high blood pressure, while promoting a greater sense of wellbeing and inner peace.
Meditation encourages us to focus our attention on the present moment, helping us create the life we truly wish to live. It can increase self-esteem, self-awareness, and trust in ourselves. Through achieving a state of thoughtless awareness, you can journey to your own sacred inner space, releasing negative energy, anger, and stress.
The practice of meditation helps to develop a daily discipline of reflection, acceptance, and connection with your inner self, guidance, and wisdom. It can transform the way we think, helping us feel more positive, centred, and empowered in our everyday lives.
Join us in a relaxed, peaceful, and safe environment where you will learn simple yet effective meditation techniques to help establish harmony and peace in your life.
Children's Meditation Group
First Saturday of each month
10:00am – 11:30am
Children aged 5–10 years
As parents, we all want the very best for our children. We want them to grow into happy, healthy, confident individuals who can cope with life's challenges and enjoy all that life has to offer.
Meditation is one of the most valuable gifts we can give our children. Through regular practice, children can discover their true potential and learn that many of the stresses and worries they experience are only temporary and can be managed more easily with the right tools and techniques.
Throughout their developmental stages, it is common for children to experience tantrums, tears, frustration, and emotional ups and downs. Young children have not yet fully developed patience and emotional control. A toddler may scream and cry for a toy, while an older child may become upset when asked to do something they do not want to do.
In today's fast-paced world, technology often provides instant answers and immediate gratification, which can make it harder for children to develop patience and resilience. Many children also struggle with fears and worries, such as fitting in, making friends, being accepted, or concerns about losing loved ones.
Emotional stability is essential for healthy growth and development. Meditation helps children return to their natural rhythm, enabling them to cope more effectively with feelings of frustration, anger, sadness, anxiety, and fear. It supports emotional development, calms the mind, and helps prevent children from becoming overwhelmed by strong emotions.

What Happens During Our Sessions?
Each group session is different, offering children a variety of enjoyable and engaging activities designed to help them relax, focus, and express themselves.
Activities may include:
- Guided visualisations and imaginative story meditations
- Mindfulness exercises
- Breathing techniques to help calm emotions and focus the mind
- Creative crafts to take home
- Musical instruments and sound vibration activities
- Exploring crystals and their use during meditation
- Relaxation and confidence-building exercises
Children learn practical techniques they can use in everyday situations when they feel excited, upset, sad, anxious, frustrated, or angry. By learning how to focus on their breathing and calm their minds, they develop valuable life skills that can benefit them for years to come.
Is Your Child Experiencing Strong Emotions?
If your child struggles with temper tantrums, sadness, frustration, anxiety, fear, or low confidence, why not bring them along to a session and see how we work together to encourage positive thinking, emotional balance, and self-awareness?
We use guided storytelling, mindfulness, creative activities, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to help children develop healthier thought patterns and coping strategies in a fun and supportive environment.
